Accessibility consultations

I have been working with game studios and developers to help create more accessible games since 2022. During that time, I have supported projects at every stage of development, from early concepts to final release. I have also worked with marketing teams and publishers to help them understand how to better reach disabled gamers.

As a disabled gamer with lived experience and years of accessibility advocacy, I have a deep understanding of accessibility and how to provide practical feedback, meaningful insights, and recommendations that make a real difference.

Accessibility is ultimately about the people who use your product. While guidelines and best practices provide an essential foundation, working with someone who has lived experience of disability offers insights that cannot always be found in documentation alone. I help identify real-world barriers, highlight practical solutions, and ensure accessibility decisions are grounded in how people actually play games.

Whether it's reviewing accessibility features, playtesting builds, facilitating workshops, or advising on inclusive design, I'm here to help your game reach more players.

If you’d like to work with me on a prosject, book me for a talk, or learn how I can help make your game more accessible, feel free to reach out at arevya@gmail.com or click here to get in touch.

Some of the services I offer:

Playtesting

I playtest your game and provide feedback either through a call/video or in a written report. This includes recommendation on what is accessible and not, and which direction I recommend the studio to take forward. This can be done both remotely or in-studio.

Mock Review

I review your game as if it were already released and provide an honest accessibility review from the perspective of a disabled gamer. The review can be delivered as a written report, a video walkthrough, or through a meeting with your team.

Dev interview / Q&A

A remotely or in-studio meeting where your developer team can ask questions about my living experience as a disabled gamer and/or about ongoing project. Can also be done through writing if this is preferred.

Accessibility talk

A remotely or in-studio accessibility talk where I focus on a given subject of game accessibility. I have talks on introduction to accessibility or an advanced deep dive, and I can tailor them to meet the needs and experience of your team.

This is a non-exhaustive list over games I have been working on since 2022. Some of the project I have been a part of does not appear in the list due to NDA.
