Accessibility settings in Palworld 1.0

Updated: 3 days ago

I downloaded Palworld today, and here is a quick look at the accessibility settings that are available in the game so far! Sadly, none of the setting are explained, so hopefully this post can help more people play the game. Please share with anyone that can benefit from knowing this.

By default, Palworld can only be played in the third-person perspective, which is great if you suffer from motion sickness. You can also turn off Motion Blur, increase Field of View from 70 to 90, turn off camera shake and increase the Ride Camera Distance from 0,5 to 2.

When aiming in the game you will get a crosshair, which you can have in the colour white, green, light blue, pink and yellow. The game also gives you the possibility to turn on a black outline for the crosshair.

The game offers volume slider for all sounds, so they can be individually changed to make sure you can hear the important stuff. You can also turn on or off some Sound Details, like specific Pal sound effects and pal activity sound at base.

If you play multiplayer, you can change input and output volume, change the mic style from Open to Push to Talk and mute your own or nearby voices.

When it comes to the UI, you can control the size of the Damage Display Size (from 0 to 2) and Minimum font size (from off to Very Large). You can also control the display time for the chat, from 2 to 60 seconds.

Both Keyboard and Controller pad can be individually button remapped, and you can control the Toggle Sprint to be on or off, camera and controller sensitivity and invert Y and X axis.  You can also, for both, turn on or off Single button press for hold interactions and change build mode switching from Hold to Toggle. There is also an AIM assist you can turn on and off.

And that was it for Palworld! I will update if they add any more accessibility settings, or if there are any good accessibility design in the game worth noticing.
